Worth watching this one below to understand how to make improvements. You can see how much distance on the recovery and glide this pair is getting out of the boat, because they are rowing the boat fully round the blade. To do that, the catches have to be quick and accurate, ie you have to be fully locked on and ‘catch where you reach’, before you change direction into the drive, so you can maximise your leverage round the pin. You can see their catches aren’t harsh or aggressive, but the blades disappear into the water v quickly!
